Copper Cylinders

For all types of Copper cylinder, solar twin coil cylinders, horizontal cylinders, Calorifiers and customer built cylinders. Our range of cylinders is below.

Indirect Copper Cylinders
Indirect cylinders are designed to work in conjunction with central heating systems. Heat is transferred from the boiler to the water contained in the cylinder via a heating coil.

Direct Copper Cylinders
Direct cylinders were originally designed to be used in conjunction with solid fuel appliances and copper back boilers. Today these units more commonly use electric immersion heaters as their heat source.

Twin Coil Solar Copper Cylinders
Our twin coil and triple coil solar cylinders are specifically designed to work in conjunction with the domestic heating system. These cylinders are manufactured with either two or three independent coils.

Unvented Copper Cylinders
Simple to install with no requirement for a cold water feed tank and supplied direct from the mains water, the unvented unit offers far greater flexibility than the traditional vented unit.

Combination Copper Cylinders
Combination cylinders (or tank) combines both hot and cold water cisterns in an integrated package. Ideally suited for multi-storey developments, where space is limited or where the installation of the header tank is proving difficult.

Economy 7 Copper Cylinders
Economy 7 (Maxistore) cylinders and combination tanks are designed to take advantage of the various electricity companies' cheap rate, night-time tariffs.

Thermal Store Copper Cylinders
The thermalstore unit provides hot water via a mixing valve at high pressure supplied direct from the mains water supply.

Horizontal Copper Cylinders
Particularly useful in confined loft spaces these cylinders are configured horizontally and are available either as direct or indirect, which can be supplied with support cradles.

Marine Copper Cylinders
Marine calorifiers are manufactured in a wide range of configurations to meet the diversity of applications and installations required of boat builders and fitters. Heavier gauge copper is used throughout giving these calorifiers a working pressure of 3 bar suitable for most marine applications.
